London-based Welsh harpist

Lisa was born and brought up in Cardiff, South Wales where she won a harp scholarship to study with Meinir Heulyn at the Welsh College of Music and Drama. In 1986, she entered the Royal College of Music and studied with Marisa Robles and Fiona Hibbert for four years, gaining dip RCM, ARCM (Hons).

Since graduating she has pursued a freelance career, working with all the main London orchestras and touring with national ballet and opera companies. She has performed with Cliff Richard and Russell Watson at Wembley Stadium, toured with Neil Sedaka and played for Nelson Mandela. 

Lisa has given solo performances on radio and television and has also been the resident harpist at Harrods. Her corporate clients have included the Saudi Royal Family, Nelson Mandela, Sting and Jimmy Carter. Lisa performs regularly in the West End, and at private functions and weddings.

With more that ten years experience in the music profession she has the knowledge and understanding to provide the right kind of music for any occasion. As well as her busy performing career, Lisa is also an experienced teacher having taught at Francis Holland School, Sloane Square, Arts Educational School, Tring, and Morley College, Kennington.

Her repertoire ranges from classical to jazz and includes many well-known melodies from shows, television and film scores. She is much in demand and early booking for weddings is highly recommended.
