4 piece West-country Ceilidh Band

This experienced barn dance and ceilidh band is based in the Bristol/Bath area.  They play a range of traditional Irish, Scottish, English and American dance tunes such as jigs, reels, polkas and hornpipes, using violin (fiddle), mandolin, mandola, banjo, tin whistle, flute and guitar.  Dances are fully explained by the resident caller and specific requests can normally be accommodated with advance notice.

The band typically plays for 3 hours with a break at half time to accommodate food, speeches etc. and specializes in the traditional barn dance which includes something for everyone. The caller usually starts the event with some simple dances (e.g. circle dances), and progresses onto slightly more advanced moves (e.g. strip the willow etc) if people feel up to it! Between dances they play tune sets whilst people enjoy a drink and catch their breath!

Client CDs or music supplied via Ipod can be played through the sound system during the interval (and if desired for a 'disco' at the end of the evening, for an additional charge per hour).

Past clients have said: 'I wanted to thank you SO much for your performance at our wedding. So many of the guests said afterwards what great fun they had - and loved the music'

'The band were absolutely fantastic and the dances w ere great, and spaced out really well to give us all time to recover in between!'

'We absolutely loved the barn dance and so many of our guests commented on the quality of the music'
