Experienced harpist in great demand

Catrin's playing is in great demand for private and corporate functions. She is very experienced in playing for weddings and her pleasant manner, reliability and repertoire selection make her an ideal choice for ceremonies and receptions.

Catrin's recent professional work as a harpist has included performances with the Royal Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestras, The Halle Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Southern Sinfonia, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, London City Ballet, Moscow City Ballet, Northern Ballet Company, The Royal Shakespeare Company, English Touring Opera, the Opera Sao Carlos in Lisbon and the European Chamber Opera. Catrin was the harpist for the West End production of Oliver! and is currently deputy on Phantom of the Opera and The King and I.

Recital performances have included Mozart's Concerto for the Flute and Harp at the Barbican Hall with the Guildhall Chamber Orchestra, Debussy's Dance Sacre et Dance Profane with the Minehead Festival Orchestra and a World Premiere performance of Adam Gorb's Harps of Gold, for Harp Quintet in the Duke's Hall at the Royal Academy of Music. In the summer of 1993 Catrin was the only British musician to successfully audition for a place in the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra, with whom she toured Germany, Spain, Austria, Italy, Denmark, working with conductors such as Sir George Solti and Valery Gergiev.
