Robert and Helen met in 1992 and have been playing as a duo ever since. They have been appreciated as invited artists at Music Festivals and Clubs throughout England where audiences have enjoyed their lively and imaginative programmes.

Their extensive repertoire embraces the baroque, classical and romantic periods as well as major works written for this combination of instruments in the twentieth century. They are available for weddings and other events as well as workshops and lecture recitals.

Helen read music at Clare College, Cambridge and was a scholar at the Royal College of Music. She is a freelance harpist, and has worked with the major orchestras in England and Europe. Helen is an active player of chamber music, including with multi-instrument group Chroma. She has given a number of radio broadcasts and made several recordings.

Robert studied at Clare College, Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Music. He is a freelance flautist and works with many of the country's top orchestras as well as Jane Manning's contemporary music group and the Galliard Ensemble, with whom he has made chamber music recordings. Robert teaches at the Royal Academy of Music and has given masterclasses at the Dartington International Summer Festival.
